Some 23 enterprises that have operations in Taixing city – administered by Taizhou, in East China's Jiangsu province – were recently accorded landmark recognition.
The companies were included on the first list for 2024 of provincial specialized and sophisticated small and medium-sized enterprises, or SMEs that produce new and unique products.
The term "specialized and sophisticated enterprises that produce new and unique products" refers to businesses possessing the characteristics of specialization, refinement, uniqueness and novelty.
Currently, Taixing is home to 125 provincial specialized and sophisticated SMEs, ranking it first in Taizhou.
One of those that are listed on the stock market is Hutchin Manufacturing Co Ltd, which mainly produces mining products such as coal mine rescue cabins.
In recent years, it has strengthened the research and development of core technologies and collaborated with universities and research institutes to develop a series of high-tech and high-value-added new products.
In recent years, Taixing has actively guided local SMEs to go down the path to specialization, refinement, uniqueness and novelty.
This has enabled some of them – with high technological content and good growth potential – to emerge as a new force in boosting overall premium-quality development in the area.
