A total of 22 enterprises from Taixing city – administered by Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – are participating in the ongoing 135th session of the China Import and Export Fair.
Being held in Guangzhou, capital city of South China's Guangdong province, it kicked off on April 15 and runs to May 5.
The event, also known as the Canton Fair, is held in Guangzhou every spring and autumn, with a history stretching back many decades.
Taixing enterprises attending the fair have rented 53 stands in the exhibition areas for motorcycles, construction machinery, decorative materials and toys.
As a key player in Taixing, battery manufacturer Jiangsu Sunpower Co Ltd has attended the fair many times.
Its latest 21,700-5,000 milliampere-hours or mAh capacity cylindrical lithium batteries are said to offer higher energy density, faster charging speeds, longer service life and better safety.
The product is being widely used in the field of energy storage, as well as providing strong power support for products such as drones, e-bikes and electric motorcycles.
Another participant is Taixing Longyi Terminals Co Ltd. It’s closely followed the rapidly developing market demand for new energy vehicles and has developed a range of products required for energy storage projects that are being shown at the expo.
Elsewhere, to improve motorcycle driving safety, Taixing Sintec Foreign Trade Co Ltd has customized motorcycles equipped with ABS brake systems to participate in the exhibition.
