A trio of service industry projects located in Taixing city – administered by Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province – were recently designated as three of 200 key 2024 Jiangsu projects in the sector.
The first is a liquid hydrocarbon storage complex, operated by Jiangsu Zhongran Yanchang Storage Co Ltd, costing 1.05 billion yuan ($145.92 million). On completion, it will have the capacity to handle 1.87 million metric tons of liquid hydrocarbons annually.
The second is a modern smart logistics park that has settled in Taixing's Hongqiao industrial park, with a floor area totaling an estimated 200,000 square meters.
By utilizing 5G intelligent terminals, the park is projected to construct production and processing distribution areas, intelligent warehousing centers and public testing and analysis centers, among other things.
The third project is Yingxing Plaza, with an above ground construction area of 45,000 sq m and an underground construction area of 15,000 sq m.
This project will involve a new 16-level star-rated hotel that integrates dining, accommodation and entertainment – as well as a 4-level commercial building integrating shopping, leisure, dining and entertainment.
When completed, the plaza is expected to be a standout landmark in the northern commercial district of Taixing.
