Power transmissions began recently on the new 110-kilovolt line for the Kimou (East China) Surface Treatment Circular Economy Industrial Park – situated in the Taixing Economic Development Zone in Taixing city, in East China's Jiangsu province.
It marked the smooth operation of Taizhou's first 110kV high-voltage expansion project, co-built by government and business.
The early start of operations is projected to save about 15 million yuan ($2.05 million) in investment costs for the project.
During the construction phase of the line, efforts were made by the zone's investment promotions department to accelerate communications with functional government departments – such as transportation, water and self-regulation.
What's more, the investment promotions department acted to help rectify more than 30 teething problems within three days, to ensure the timely start of the 110kV power line.
