Yinda village – located in Taixing city, in East China's Jiangsu province – is surrounded by water and it has some beautiful scenery.

The village boasts a pleasing ecological system and landscape. The Jing-Tai Boundary River, Xiaoqinhuai River and the Tongjing Road all feature in the layout of its area.

Forests of century-old ginkgo trees create a weathered, strong and ancient ambience – adding to the other mature trees, wells and old buildings that reflect the unique historical appearance.

The main roads and the green belts along the  rivers are planted with different species of trees and flowers in accordance with seasons, with a strong sense of layering.

Yinda's special natural resources help promote its rural tourism. The 100-year Xiaoqinhuai ginkgo garden, the former residence of the Yinda martyrs and the over 400-year-old Shifang Temple are all great tourist draws.

Yinda village also has rich folk cultural resources, including dragon and lion dances, Yangko dances, lantern lighting events and other performances. The March 3 Peach Blossom Lantern Festival was once featured on a CCTV program.

To date, it's been recognized as a national civilized village, a four-star rural tourism spot, a Jiangsu characteristic village and as a Jiangsu ecological village, among others.
