The Annual Meeting and Second Third Session of Emergency Innovation Branch of China Security Industry Association were recently held in Qingdao, Shandong province. Jiangyan Economic Development Zone was invited to present a special promotion on the development of its safety and emergency industry.

Jiangyan EDZ has seen rapid growth in the sector. The zone is home to more than 110 safety and emergency enterprises, including 48 enterprises above the designated size. In 2024, the industry's sales revenue exceeded 20 billion yuan ($2.76 billion).
The zone boasts a well-developed infrastructure. With an investment of 1.6 billion yuan, the core area of the Taizhou Intelligent Safety and Emergency Industrial Park features standard factories, hotels, restaurants, gyms, convenience stores, and talent apartments, providing comprehensive support for resident enterprises.

Additionally, the zone has strong innovation capabilities. Enterprise research and development spending in the zone accounts for 6.38 percent of the gross regional product. It hosts 29 provincial-level R&D centers and has attracted 33 national-level leading talents. Collaborations with top universities such as Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and the University of Science and Technology of China further support product development.
Jiangyan EDZ also offers extensive policy and service support. It has introduced dedicated policies to boost the emergency industry, established specialized project service teams, and implemented a "three-in-one" liaison mechanism to provide standardized and systematic assistance to enterprises.
The zone is poised to focus on expanding industrial scale, enhancing innovation, and optimizing the business environment. It aims to build a nationally recognized safety and emergency industry demonstration base by strengthening industry clusters, improving park facilities, and fostering a distinctive brand.
