In the first half of 2024, 20 new projects, including one foreign-invested project, started construction in Jiangyan district, Taizhou, while 13 projects were completed, surpassing last year's figures by 11 and six projects, respectively.

The first phase of Shuangdeng Group's 10GWh intelligent energy storage system integration production project was recently completed and has entered the trial production stage. With a planned total investment of 1 billion yuan ($139.4 million), the project is expected to generate 2 billion yuan in sales after entering full production.
Another shining example is Jiangsu Pacific Precision Forging's project involving lightweight auto parts for new energy automobiles. Supported by an investment of 3 billion yuan, the project has achieved a global standard with the comprehensive efficiency of the automated production lines exceeding 80 percent. The project is expected to go into full production by the end of February next year.
Omega Smart Home (Jiangsu) focuses on the research, development and production of smart home products and accessories. The project, which started production in January this year, achieved nearly 200 million yuan in sales in the first half of the year and is expected to achieve 1 billion yuan in annual sales once it begins operating at full capacity.
A project involving the manufacturing of carbon fiber and automobile shell reinforced materials was also introduced in Jiangyan district. With a planned investment of 500 million yuan, the project has started construction and is expected to generate 500 million yuan in annual sales.
