The Jiangyan district of Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province on June 29 hosted the third session of a gathering of emerging entrepreneurs, called the 2024 New Generation Entrepreneurs Salon.
The event brought together 10 emerging entrepreneurs from local businesses, foreign-invested companies and startups. They exchanged business philosophies, analyzed economic trends, discussed industry developments and explored various opportunities and challenges.

Key speakers included Yang Rui, CEO of Shuangdeng Group Co Ltd; Huang Weijie, general manager of Jiangsu Shenwang Group Wire Rope Co Ltd and Zhou Jiawen, general manager of Jiangsu Jinjia Iron Core Co Ltd.
Representing new-generation entrepreneurs from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s, respectively, they shared their insights on personal growth, business inheritances, management and transformation.
Sun Liangliang, Party secretary of the district committee, highlighted the importance of new-generation enterprises in carrying forwards the hardworking spirit of the older generation – positioning them as the backbone of Jiangyan's bright future economic and social development.
She underscored the need to prioritize innovation, enhance core technologies and promote "intelligent transformation, digital transition, and network integration." Furthermore, she urged the entrepreneurs to adhere to the "four bottom lines" – integrity, safety, quality control and profitability – to ensure steady growth and mutual success with Jiangyan.
