There have been calls to enhance the new energy sector in the Jiangyan district of Taizhou city – located in East China's Jiangsu province.
On June 4, Qian Jun, head of Jiangyan district, visited the Jiangyan Economic Development Zone on a fact-finding mission to learn more about new energy industry enterprises.
During his visit to Shuangdeng Group Co Ltd, Taizhou JinenU New Energy Co Ltd and Taizhou Zhonglai Photoelectric Technology Co Ltd, Qian engaged in talks on the development trends and challenges faced by the companies.

Qian highlighted the need for the enterprises to optimize their products and services, broaden applications fields and to expand market share.
He called for an acceleration in technological innovation and product development to improve the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements.
Additionally, he stressed the importance of optimizing the supply chain to reduce production and operational costs and enhance productivity.
Qian also emphasized that the district's departments and the zone should improve the quality of their services by providing prompt support in policies, resources and more. This support was crucial for helping enterprises to expand their markets, increase their financial returns and promote steady economic growth.
