The Jiangyan district of Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province, is boosting its technological collaboration with Anhui Polytechnic University – located in Wuhu city in East China's Anhui province.
Recently, Gao Yanfeng, vice president of Anhui Polytechnic University, led a delegation to Jiangyan district for research and an exchange visit, with a seminar held in the Jiangyan Economic Development Zone.

During the event, Gao provided an overview of the university's historical development, educational objectives, program offerings, school scale and its collaboration with enterprises.
Additionally, he showcased his team's research achievements, particularly in photo-thermal modulation materials, which have found widespread applications in national defense, the military industry and in civilian products.
Chen Yu, deputy minister of the organization department of the district committee, held extensive discussions.
These covered topics from university-enterprise cooperation models to the transformation of research achievements. The aim was to leverage the opportunity to deepen technical cooperation, incubate and implement more high-level talent projects and bolster the high-quality development of the district.
As part of the event, Gao and his team visited leading companies including Shuangdeng Group Co Ltd, a leading integration service provider of green energy storage in the era of big data, and Taizhou Zhonglai Photoelectric Technology Co Ltd, a company specialized in the manufacturing of photovoltaic equipment.
During the visits, company executives gave presentations on their main products, technological advantages, market positions and urgent technical challenges. Meanwhile, the university's professors were on hand to provide answers to pertinent questions raised by the companies, drawing on their cutting-edge research.
