The Sanshui Street Edible Mushroom Industrial Park in the Jiangyan district of Taizhou city – based in East China's Jiangsu province – was recently listed as a provincial smart park by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.
That's the result of moves made by the park last year to overcome environmental limitations by implementing a factory method for producing mushroom stems, creating an intelligent mushroom facility powered by the Internet of Things, or IoT technologies.

In recent years, the district has actively pursued the development of intelligent agriculture by integrating modern information technology with park production and management to enhance the planting cycle .
Moving forwards, the Jiangyan district agriculture and rural affairs bureau plans to explore diversified digital agriculture application scenarios – aiming to continuously enhance the level of intelligence within the planting industry in the region.
It's expected that this will involve the continued development of smart parks and digital farms –leveraging local information technology, crop production characteristics and park operating conditions.
The goal is to drive high-quality, technology-empowered agricultural practices, ensuring sustainable growth and innovation within the district's planting sector.
