Taizhou Ceprei Institute Co Ltd, based in the Jiangyan Economic Development Zone – in the Jiangyan district of Taizhou city, East China's Jiangsu province – has been honored as a three-star SME Public Service Platform.
That's according to information recently released by Jiangsu's industry and information technology department.
The Taizhou Ceprei Institute is the first national scientific research institution introduced to Jiangyan district. It specializes in quality and reliability research, inspections and testing of industrial products.
With 52 patent applications, including 22 invention patents, the institute has published 19 industry papers and contributed to the formulation of 15 industry standards.

The institute is understood to have played a key role in supporting major enterprises in the region, such as Shuangdeng Group and Jiangsu Pacific Precision Forging Co Ltd.
By addressing quality enhancement challenges, it is said to have really helped these enterprises thrive.
Currently, the Taizhou Ceprei Institute is constructing a new energy automobile power battery research laboratory and a ship equipment oscillation impact laboratory.
These facilities will focus on addressing reliability issues faced by new energy power batteries in ship equipment during their operations, driving advancements in related industries.
