At the premises of Origintek Electronic Technology Co, Taizhou Party chief Zhu Lifan took a keen interest in the high-tech firm's advanced know-how and equipment.
The group specializes in the research and development, design, production and sales of rigid and flexible printed circuit boards.
On completion, the company's new production plant there is expected to produce 1.8 million square meters of various rigid and flexible printed circuit boards annually.
The semiconductor wet processing equipment production plant is being built with a total investment of 1 billion yuan ($139.78 million) by Asia Electronics Technology Co (AELsystem), one of the leading companies to promote the localization of semiconductors advanced equipment in China.
AELsystem focuses on wafer front-end wet etching and cleaning technology and has established a major presence in the semiconductor wafer manufacturing industry.
Elsewhere in the district, Taizhou Suhong Electronic Technology Co's product research and development project is being funded by Jiangsu Saiyang Electromechanical Technology Co.
Its products will supply global leading CNC system manufacturers such as Fanuc and Mitsubishi from Japan, as well as Siemens from Germany.
