The Jiangyan (Shenzhen) Golden Autumn Economic and Trade & Precision Manufacturing Industry Promotion Conference – held on Nov 3 in the Jiangyan district of Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – attracted a raft of lucrative projects.

With a total of investment of 18.63 billion yuan ($2.56 billion), 16 projects in the field of precision manufacturing were signed up on site.
Top officials from Jiangyan district attended the event and delivered speeches. They highlighted the cooperation between Jiangyan district and Shenzhen city and promoted Jiangyan district in various areas.
The Jiangyan (Shenzhen) Offshore Innovation Center was also launched on the day. It is the first regional offshore innovation center in Taizhou that is being led by enterprises, with the participation of upstream and downstream businesses.
ShuangDeng Group, based on the Jiangyan Economic Development Zone, is the first enterprise to settle in the innovation center and it signed a major lithium battery project.

The group also reached a cooperation agreement with the Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School.
In recent years, Jiangyan district has been focusing on creating an industrial cluster for precision manufacturing and it's aiming to become a hub for the sector in the Yangtze River Delta region.
