Currently, the main civil engineering of the plant is 53 percent complete and conflicts with the entire tailwater ecological buffer zone have been resolved. Excavation work is 59 percent complete and 30 percent of the sewage pipe network – about 3 kilometers – has been laid.
Wang stressed the importance of accelerating the construction progress.
He called for the strict adherence to the project timetable, regular scheduled meetings on progress, implementation of a rewards and punishments mechanism and ensuring the completion of key construction tasks before the end of the year.
Safety measures and environmental controls were also emphasized. Wang highlighted the need to prioritize safety and implement safety management measures.
Additionally, the construction process should minimize the impact on the surrounding environment, he said.
Strict control over project quality was another key point addressed during the inspection. The construction unit, supervision unit and project team were urged to work together, fulfill their duties and ensure timely completion of construction tasks to a high quality.
Moving forwards, the development zone plans to stick closely to the schedule, conduct inspections and address practical difficulties and problems.
It will make every effort to promote the construction of the wastewater treatment plant, buffer zone and associated pipe network.
The goal is to complete the project as soon as possible, ensuring safety and quality – and providing satisfactory results to the public.
