With over 200 auto parts enterprises, Jiangyan district has become an important player in the auto parts and precision manufacturing industry.
Last year, the industrial cluster in Jiangyan generated sales of 6.44 billion yuan ($903.3 million), a year-on-year increase of 9.1 percent.
The CTO Alliance aims to promote the deeper integration of the industrial supply chain, talent supply chain and innovation chain there.
Its operations mechanism will include information exchanges, cutting-edge technology releases, resource collaboration, project cooperation, finance and tracking services.
It's understood that the establishment of the alliance provides a platform for collaboration, enabling enterprises to share scientific and technological innovation achievements.
The idea is that it will also improve the cohesion of regional scientific and technological innovation and create a model industry with Taizhou specialties.
Additionally, the alliance has streamlined the communication channels for companies such as the HITRUST Group to work with influential groups such as Jiangsu Pacific Precision Forging Co Ltd and develop automated production lines.
It's expected that this will help these and other companies to expand, while introducing wider applications in the field of auto parts.
