The Jiangyan-Shenzhen Offshore Innovation Center was inaugurated at THTI Holdings' Industry Incubation Center in South China's Shenzhen city on June 2.
Located in the core area of Shenzhen, in Guangdong province, the center is affiliated with Tsinghua University, one of the most preeminent tertiary institutions in China.
Jiangyan district – located in Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province – aims to develop key industry clusters by accurately promoting high-quality projects in the Greater Bay Area.
As part of the construction plan for a "1+3+N" offshore innovation center in Jiangyan district, the Jiangyan Economic Development Zone has developed the Shanghai Wanshi Offshore Incubation Science and Innovation Center and the Shenzhen Offshore Innovation Center.
Moving forward, plans are for the Jiangyan Economic Development Zone to take advantage of key projects and support from local colleges to promote the transformation of R&D achievements in the science and innovation industries.
It's hoped this will attract more science and innovation resources and elements – facilitating the sustainable and high-quality development of the regional economy.
