A team from Miami College of Henan University in Central China visited Jiangyan Economic Development Zone in East China's Jiangsu province on March 20 in a bid to strengthen exchanges and introduce more talent to the area.
Led by Yang Caiyun, Party secretary of the college, the team visited the zone's Human Resources Industrial Park and resident companies such as Jolywood (Taizhou) Solar Technology Co Ltd and Jiangsu Pacific Precision Forging Co Ltd.
Yang introduced the history, purpose of schooling, professional settings and other details about the educational opportunities available at Henan University and its Miami College.
Sun Hongcui, deputy director of Jiangyan district, introduced Jiangyan Economic Development Zone in a comprehensive manner, and extended her sincere hope of seeing more university-enterprise cooperation as well as the commercialization of the zone's scientific and technological achievements.

After a series of in-depth exchanges, both sides reached a preliminary agreement of intent to pursue further cooperation.
Founded by Henan University and the University of Miami in Florida, United States, Miami College of Henan University was approved by the Ministry of Education in August 2015 and saw its first student enrollment in 2016. This is the first undergraduate cooperative institution with a world-renowned university in Henan province.
