Some 17 staff members from Jiangyan's five investment offices located in the cities of Shanghai, Suzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou and Wuxi have been on their toes to attract more premium projects.
"It is obvious that more enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta are willing to contact us, and more projects are currently under discussion," said Liu Xiaobin, director of the investment promotion department at Jiangyan EDZ.
Liu said his staff members had visited over 30 enterprises since Jan 31, covering various fields and 10 major projects. Moreover, they have reached preliminary cooperation agreements with many firms.
