Jiangyan Economic Development Zone – located in Jiangyan district of Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province – has been ramping up efforts to attract more projects from around the nation.
Kong Wei, director of the zone's administrative committee, recently led a team to Central China's Henan province to inspect two projects from Zhongpin Food Co Ltd, and YTO Group Corporation, an influential manufacturer of agricultural and construction machinery.

Zhongpin Food is currently in the stage of merging and reorganizing, and revitalizing its stock assets is considered a top priority by both sides.
After a series of negotiations, the Jiangyan Economic Development Zone and Zongpin Food signed a land storage agreement.

The development zone also had in-depth exchanges with representatives from YTO Group Corp on the group's idle land, and both sides agreed to continue to strengthen communication to refine their plan.
Moving forward, plans are afoot for the Jiangyan Economic Development Zone to promote the use of idle and inefficient land and further optimize the allocation of land resources.
