The Jiangyan Economic Development Zone – located in Jiangyan district of Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province – has been ramping up efforts to attract more talent from around the nation.

Tian Zhichun, deputy director of the Jiangyan Economic Development Zone administrative committee, recently led a team to agree cooperative relationships with universities in the cities of Changsha, Nanchang and Xiamen.
The exchanges took place at Central South University in Hunan province, Nanchang Hangkong University in Jiangxi province, and Xiamen University in Fujian province, among others.
The team provided a detailed introduction about the terms of the zone's talent services and favorable policies, and engaged in detailed talks about ways of cooperating on national talent projects.
Tian said the zone has formed a whole life-cycle service system to foster innovation and entrepreneurship among talented personnel, adding that many of its talent projects have been upgraded to the national level.
Moving forward, plans are afoot for the Jiangyan Economic Development Zone to strengthen its talent chain and create a more competitive hub to spur innovation and entrepreneurship.
