The Jiangyan Economic Development Zone – located in the Jiangyan district of Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – held a conference on Jan 30 to attract investment and talent and at it announced 38 measures to boost its development.

An awards ceremony was held at the event and 10 awards were presented to resident companies for their improvements in various areas, such as quality and efficiency.
A total of 38 incentives and measures to boost business were also announced. In one, the zone plans to give a bonus of up to 1 million yuan ($148,053) to those enterprises with annual sales exceeding 100 million yuan, 500 million yuan, or 1 billion yuan to 10 billion yuan.
The zone is also encouraging its companies to accelerate their development in various aspects – including sci-tech innovation and the introduction of talent – and plans to reward those taking the lead.
Plans are for the Jiangyan EDZ to focus on six areas to boost its development, including digital transformation, the introduction of scientific and technological personnel and enterprise cultivation.
