Xiaoyang village – located in the Jiangyan district of Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province – has been listed in one of the first groups of beautiful villages in the Yangtze River Delta.

The village, located on the Lixiahe plain near the 5A-rated Qinhu River scenic area, covers an area of 6.4 square kilometers and boasts convenient transportation as the S29 and S610 provincial highways pass through it.
In recent years, it focused on the integrated development of agriculture and tourism.
Through the creation of its Xiaoyang Household B&B brand, the village has added a thriving leisure industry to its traditional agricultural operations and utilized its cultural and tourism resources – such as cherry blossom viewing and Qinhu crab farming – to boost their integrated development
These efforts have earned the village a raft of prestigious accolades. In recent years, Xiaoyang has been selected as one of the first batch of national forest villages, in the second batch of national key villages for rural tourism, as well as one of China's beautiful leisure villages – and has been recognized many times at the provincial level.
