A new energy/new energy vehicles industry competition – part of the 11th Entrepreneurship Jiangsu Technology Entrepreneurship Competition – was launched on Aug 24 in the Hailing district of Taizhou city, located in East China's Jiangsu province.
The ongoing Entrepreneurship Jiangsu Technology Entrepreneurship Competition is an entrepreneurial brands contest with the biggest scale and highest level in the province.
It's attracted the participation of over 100 industry experts and entrepreneurs in the province, according to remarks made at the opening ceremony.
"The organizing committee has entrusted the industry competition to Hailing district for the second time," said Liu Jianbo, deputy secretary of the district committee.
"This is a high recognition of the district's technological innovation work, as well as a strong support for the district to build a full photovoltaic industry supply chain and to develop the automotive parts industry," Liu added.
Since its launch in May, the 11th Entrepreneurship Jiangsu Technology Entrepreneurship Competition has attracted the registration of 7,690 projects.
In the new energy/new energy vehicle industry competition, 85 projects have advanced and will be divided into three groups for judging – the start-up group, growth group and the team group.
