The Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone – located in Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province – is moving up the pace of construction, with the build-out of its parks now in full swing.
At the Electronic Information Park, a cultural and creative industrial gathering area will be capped soon, with the project costing a total 518 million yuan ($75.24 million). Its aim is to create an intelligent manufacturing base for the cultural industry, a cultural and creative design center and a cultural and creative product exhibitions center.
At the zone's Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industrial Park, new influenza vaccine plants that will be operated by Jiangsu Ab&B Bio-Tech Co Ltd are under construction. The endeavor, honored as one of the major provincial industrial projects in 2022, will cost 2 billion yuan.

The contractors are constructing influenza vaccine workshops, adjuvant influenza vaccine workshops for the elderly and support facilities.
At full capacity, the facility is projected to generate output value of 2 billion yuan and provide 500 jobs.
Elsewhere, at the Chemical New Materials Industrial Park, a total of eight major projects are now under construction, costing totally 4.06 billion yuan. Two projects have started partial production and others are on the path to installing equipment and pilot production.
Moving forwards, the zone will ramp up efforts in 12 key areas in the health manufacturing industry and health services industry – pushing to start 50 projects costing 500 million yuan each and complete 25 projects each year.
