Recently, the Amplicon-gene medical test laboratory – located in the Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone in Taizhou city, East China's Jiangsu province – has been approved by the College of American Pathologists (CAP), indicating that its overall diagnostic quality and service level has met international standards.
This makes it the first laboratory in central Jiangsu to be certified by the CAP in terms of high-throughput DNA sequencing.
The CAP is recognized as the most credible and oldest clinical medical laboratory certification institution in the world. Its certification system is considered the most suitable international standard for medical laboratories.
Receiving approval from the CAP reflects the high quality of the lab's operations and management process, as well as the comprehensive nature of its hardware and software accessories, and high level of technical professionalism.
It also means the laboratory's test reports will garner international recognition and credibility.
Jiangsu Amplicon-gene Medical Technology Co Ltd settled in the zone in 2016. It focuses on the research and development, production, clinical testing and application of nucleic acid molecular diagnostic technology, as well as producing in-vitro diagnostic reagents.
