Huzhou offers diverse outdoor sports experiences

Huzhou in Zhejiang province offers a wide range of outdoor sports, with its mountains, forests, waterways, and lakeside greenways providing settings for activities on land, water, and in the air.

Paragliding is available at several mountain sites, including Tongluoshan in Anji county, where participants can take in views of bamboo forests, reservoirs, fields, and the surrounding countryside.

Cycling and trail running are also popular, with Mogan Mountain in Deqing county hosting more than 20 trail-running events a year, while lakeside greenways and mountain routes offer options for both road and mountain cycling. Mogan Mountain has also developed into a major venue for outdoor sports events in recent years.

Visitors can try archery at a national-level shooting and archery base in Anji, or take part in flight experiences and skydiving at Tianzihu General Airport.

Huzhou's waterways add another dimension to its outdoor scene, with kayaking available in areas such as Xishanyang scenic area, and paddleboarding on local lakes and waterways. Nanxun ancient town has also become a venue for paddleboarding competitions, drawing on its network of traditional waterways.

From mountain trails to lakes and rivers, Huzhou offers a variety of ways to enjoy outdoor sports.
