Registration for the 2026 Huzhou Marathon, which will be held on April 12 in Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, opened at 10 am on Feb 5 and is set to close at 6 pm on Feb 26.

The event will feature both marathon and half-marathon categories, accommodating a total of 16,000 participants. The marathon will host 3,000 runners, while the half-marathon will have 13,000.

The race route has been optimized, with both categories starting at the Huzhou Olympic Sports Center. Runners will pass through the national 5A-level Taihu Lake Tourist Resort, enjoying scenic views of Taihu Lake, spring wetlands, and cultural landmarks.

The marathon will finish at the Huzhou International Clay Court Tennis Center, while the half-marathon will return to the Olympic Sports Center track.

To enhance the race experience, the start time has been adjusted to 7 am, with staggered starts. Additionally, 30 finishers will be randomly selected for direct entry into the 2027 C&D Xiamen Marathon.

Participants must pre-register and pay, with final entry determined by a lottery. Interested runners can register on the official Huzhou Marathon website.
