The 7th Yellow Peach Festival of Wuxing district in Huzhou, Zhejiang province, unfolded in Miaoxi town on July 26.

The festival not only entertained attendees with performances and activities but also showcased award-winning yellow and honey peach varieties from Wuxing.

The Jinfeng yellow peach and the Baili honey peach clinched the gold awards in their respective categories at the festival. A host introduced the award-winning fruits, detailing their varieties, flavors, and shapes, prompting eager attendees to purchase the delicacies.

Miaoxi's favorable climate and abundant water sources contribute to the production of juicy and sweet peaches that are adored by locals. It is the largest yellow peach production hub in Wuxing.

The "Miaoxi Yellow Peach" became the first agricultural product in Wuxing to secure national geographical indication certification in 2021, emerging as a distinguished emblem of the region's agriculture.
