Ji Bowen, a world-class canoeist, dazzled spectators with a stellar performance at the International Canoe Federation (ICF) Canoe Sprint World Cup in Poznan, Poland, which took place from May 24 to 26.

Along with his partner Liu Hao, Ji secured two gold medals in the men's canoe double events during the international tournament.

Their first triumph occurred on May 25 when the Chinese duo claimed the gold in the men's canoe double 500 meters event, completing the race in an impressive time of 1 minute and 40.50 seconds.

The pair continued their dominance by clinching another gold medal in the men's canoe double 1,000 meters final the following day, finishing with a time of 3 minutes and 42.13 seconds.

Following the conclusion of the World Cup, Ji is set to return to China with the national team for a rigorous seven-week pre-competition training program. Subsequently, he will travel to France in mid-July to prepare for the canoe sprint events at the Paris Olympics in early August.
