Huzhou displayed its stellar manufacturing capabilities at the 135th Canton Fair, which concluded on May 5 in Guangzhou, Guangdong province.

The city in East China's Zhejiang province sent a delegation composed of 304 enterprises to the fair, presenting a diverse array of products across 613 booths. Over the span of the 21-day exhibition, the delegation secured a total of $153 million in intended orders, a 15 percent increase from the previous session, according to statistics from the Huzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce.

Of particular note, over 70 percent of participating enterprises from Huzhou unveiled new products at this year's Canton Fair, garnering considerable attention from prospective buyers.

One of the standout participants was Zhejiang Yuante New Materials Co Ltd, a seasoned exhibitor at the fair. This year, the company introduced their new high-end brand, Jingyu, at the fair, featuring products ranging from garden flooring, stone materials, fences, railings and green plants to a comprehensive line of wood-plastic products. The brand's commitment to providing customers with end-to-end services, from design to installation to post-sales support, received high acclaim and sparked significant interest among visitors and buyers.

"Our interactions with potential buyers at the fair have resulted in on-site transactions amounting to $250,000, with intended orders projected to surpass $2 million, marking a growth of over 30 percent compared to last year," highlighted the company's spokesperson.

He added that the unexpected triumph at the Canton Fair has boosted the company's prospects, with export orders already scheduled through July, alongside plans to expand with 10 new production lines.
