The newly constructed railway line running from Shanghai to Huzhou via Suzhou has been officially named the "Shanghai-Suzhou-Huzhou High-Speed Railway", as announced recently by China Railway Group.

The high-speed railway line will include eight stations, including two new stations erected in Huzhou, Zhejiang province, namely Nanxun Railway Station and Huzhou East Railway Station.

The railway, which is scheduled to commence operations this year's end, spans approximately 163.8 kilometers and is designed to operate at a speed of 350 km/h.

Once operational, the railway is expected to play a crucial role in the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region, significantly enhancing transportation connectivity between key cities in the area.
