Green production is gaining momentum in Wuxing High-tech Zone located in Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province.

In recent years, the zone has intensified efforts to manage green and low-carbon factories and has also advanced the construction of an environmental management system and energy management system. As a result, a number of green and low-carbon parks have been established, and leading enterprises have been encouraged to participate in the development of green design product standards. Furthermore, the zone has successfully created green design demonstration enterprises.

In a significant milestone, the first Ecology-Oriented Development (EOD) project in northern Zhejiang was introduced to the Wuxing High-tech Zone in May. The concept of EOD revolves around promoting comprehensive regional development by focusing on ecological protection and environmental governance.

Spanning an area of 37.4 square kilometers, the EOD project primarily encompasses the southern part of the Huzhou Modern Logistics Equipment High-tech Industrial Park. With a total investment of 2.98 billion yuan ($409.27 million), the project is set to be implemented over a period of 25 years, including a four-year construction phase.
