A truck loaded with one million face masks departed from Huzhou to Southwest China's Yunnan province on April 19, according to local media reports.
The masks were donated by Huzhou-based Zhejiang Saixun Environmental Protection Technology Co Ltd to help curb the COVID-19 epidemic resurgence in Ruili, a border city in Yunnan province. Ruili, which borders Myanmar, reported a new cluster of local COVID-19 cases in late March.
Saixun is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the production, sales, and R&D of PTFE products, as well as products that are widely used in the chemical application and filtration market.
