Mo Qiyuan is a renowned handicraftsman in Shishan village, Miaoxi town, Huzhou's Wuxing district.

Mo started to learn bamboo weaving when he was 18 years old and has now been engaged in the craft for 45 years.

Bamboo chairs and baskets designed for tea pickers made by the artisan enjoy great popularity with villagers nearby.
