China Urban-Rural Headquarters Economic Industrial Park nears completion

Liu Ziqing, Party secretary of the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) administrative committee, met with Gu Zhiwen, Party secretary of China Urban and Rural Construction Development Co (CURCD), on Aug 12 to reach a consensus on strengthening cooperation in areas such as urban underground pipelines and environmental protection.

CURCD, a subsidiary of China Communications Construction Group Co (CCCG), has established platforms in WEDZ focusing on environmental engineering, real estate development, and water technology.

Among its significant investments is the China Urban-Rural Headquarters Economic Industrial Park, which is now in the final stages of construction and is expected to be completed by the end of September.

Liu emphasized WEDZ's commitment to transforming industry, power, and urban development, saying that authorities are currently planning and building the Houguan Lake Headquarters Area, aiming to develop a modern, livable, and business-friendly city.

Liu expressed hope for continued cooperation between the parties, focusing on the headquarters economy, urban renewal, and environmental protection. WEDZ is dedicated to optimizing its business environment, supporting CURCD in its pursuit of innovative development.

Gu expressed gratitude for WEDZ's strong support, noting that CURCD will utilize its comprehensive advantages in urban construction and environmental services to attract businesses across the industry chain and contribute to the high-quality economic and social development of WEDZ.
