On April 8, Liu Ziqing, secretary of the working committee of the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ), visited the China EV 100 in Beijing, and engaged in in-depth discussions with Zhang Yongwei, vice chairman and secretary general of China EV 100.

Both sides reached a consensus to deepen their cooperation and jointly build a high-standard auto valley laboratory, aiming to promote standardized innovation and development in the automotive industry. This collaboration will also promote the construction of a supply chain platform, thus empowering the transformation and upgrading of the industry.

China EV 100 is the most influential Chinese think tank in the automotive industry, and the China Quality Certification Center is the largest and internationally leading comprehensive certification and testing institution to serve both the electronics and automotive industries. WEDZ will collaborate extensively with both China EV 100 and the China Quality Certification Center to establish new regional automotive innovation standards and standardization bases.

China EV 100 has taken the lead in setting up the digital platform EVSCHAIN, focusing on promoting the transformation of automotive supply chain services. With this change, services are set to be more standardized, digitalized, and modular, which will enhance the resilience and competitiveness of the industrial and supply chain.

Zhang Yongwei stated that China EV 100 will also work closely with the zone to promote supply and demand matching, and facilitate the smooth operation of the auto supply chain.
