On March 10, the opening of the 2025 Huangpu Boluodan Temple Fair attracted numerous visitors who came to experience the treasures of Lingnan culture.
On the temple fair's first day, the "Offering Sea Sacrifices and Praying for Blessings" ceremony kicked off. The chief officiant, dressed in the attire of a Song Dynasty (960-1279) civil official, held a wooden tablet, circled the offerings, and presented precious items from land and sea, expressing beautiful wishes for national prosperity and people's well-being.

Traditional handicrafts and delicacies such as Bolo zongzi (sticky rice dumplings) and Bolo chicken were also popular among visitors. Chen Yucai, the inheritor of Bolo zongzi making, prepared over a dozen flavors of zongzi to meet the diverse needs of the visitors.

The collaborative live broadcast between the Guangzhou Maritime Museum and Guangzhou Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) extended the cultural experience to urban public spaces, attracting more young people to pay attention to intangible cultural heritage.
The temple fair is set to continue until March 14.
