Huangpu unveils 38 product categories at agricultural trade fair

The 21st China International Agricultural Products Trade Fair was held in Guangzhou from Nov 28 to Dec 1.

A total of 17 enterprises from Huangpu exhibited 38 categories of agricultural products and agricultural machinery, signing agreements for agricultural industry projects with a total investment exceeding 1.2 billion yuan ($164.68 million).

The exhibition showcased Huangpu's agricultural scientific achievements, featuring specialty products such as "Huangpu Red" ecological black tea, which attracted significant attention from businesses and the public.

In recent years, Huangpu has focused on building agricultural brands, creating distinctive brands like "Huangpu Red" black tea and "Longping Huangpu Fragrant" rice. The district has promoted the display of intelligent agricultural machinery and equipment to enhance agricultural production efficiency and quality.

The exhibition displayed intelligent agricultural machinery products, including pest recognition devices and various types of smart agricultural machinery, demonstrating the cutting-edge applications of agricultural technology. Huangpu is also exploring smart agricultural development by establishing the "Dajisha Smart Farm" and the "Jifei Super Farm" to promote agricultural modernization.

During the trade fair, the Guangzhou "Agriculture, Rural Areas, and Farmers" Investment Promotion Conference featured a special session on Huangpu district, where agreements for seven projects, including the Zero-Carbon Urban Smart Super Plant Factory and the Vegetable Germplasm Resource Center Project, were signed on-site.

Upon the completion of these projects, the optimization and enhancement of the agricultural supply structure in Huangpu and Guangzhou will provide stronger momentum for the high-quality development of agriculture in Huangpu district.
