Huangpu ranks 8th among China's Top 100 districts

Huangpu district recently ranked eighth on the "2024 Top 100 Comprehensive Competitiveness Districts in China" list.

As the leader among China's top districts, Huangpu demonstrates impressive comprehensive strength and sustained development vitality.

Huangpu has built an entire industrial chain ecological layout based on "research and development on Guangzhou International Bio Island, pilot testing in Guangzhou Science City, and manufacturing in Guangzhou Knowledge City".

Led by the Guangdong semiconductor industry, Huangpu has brought together over 200 upstream and downstream enterprises to propel Guangdong province towards becoming a third hub of integrated circuits.

In Guangzhou Science City, Huangpu is developing a traditional automobile manufacturing base; on Guangzhou Bio Island, it is creating a 5G autonomous driving application demonstration island; and in Guangzhou Knowledge City, it is gathering projects like Baidu Apollo and XPeng Motors to focus on intelligent connected vehicle technologies.

Focusing on implementing new productive forces, Huangpu is nurturing artificial intelligence, new energy storage, aerospace, low-altitude economy, and other emerging and future industries.

In its pursuit of becoming an international consumer district, it has also introduced a series of supportive policies that has inspired numerous businesses and leading enterprises to establish delivery centers in the district.
