The finals of the Nanotechnology Industry Technical Innovation Special Competition in the 13th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition concluded at the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology on Nov 17.
Three companies from Huangpu district have achieved remarkable success. Guangzhou Sysmyk attained third place in the growth category, while Guangzhou Green Carbon Technology and Guangzhou Yingnuochuangke Advanced Materials Technology both secured third place in the startup category.
Following a thorough vetting process, 50 outstanding companies emerged as finalists in the national competition. The evaluation was carried out by a distinguished panel of experts, including specialists in technology, industry, and investment. Their assessments focused on several critical factors: the degree of technological innovation, the robustness of business models, market viability, team capability, and financial health.

That emerged victorious in the competition showcased the robust technological innovation and industrial enhancement capabilities of the district, injecting new vitality into the regional economy.
The competition provided extensive support, including pre-competition training, resource integration, implementation services, and promotional support, aimed at facilitating the accelerated growth of the winning companies.
The top 12 companies were awarded cash prizes and granted the opportunity to secure up to 10 million yuan ($1.38 million) in special funding for project implementation, complemented by professional guidance from renowned investment institutions and industry leaders.
