New developments made in GDD's low-altitude economic industry

On Nov 12, the Low Altitude Industry Development Company under the Guangzhou Development District (GDD) Investment Group signed a cooperation framework agreement with Yitong Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Systems Company, settling in the GDD Low Altitude Economic Industrial Park.

Low Altitude Industry Development Company focuses on low-altitude infrastructure construction, flight technology services, and project investment, serving as a crucial platform for Huangpu in the low-altitude economic sector.

Yitong UAV Systems Company is a large-scale unmanned transport aircraft research and manufacturing enterprise established in 2021, with its products widely used in aviation logistics, rescue operations, weather modification for rain enhancement, and specialized transport fields.

According to the cooperation framework agreement, both parties will collaborate in developing specialized equipment under the low-altitude economic planning of Guangzhou, establish a production base for large and medium-sized unmanned transport aircraft, and expand operations to Guangdong and surrounding provinces and cities.

Furthermore, they will jointly establish a UAV testing base, promote the establishment of a civil aviation medium-sized UAV authorization and certification institution, enhance regional talent reserves, and develop training institutions.

Yitong UAV Systems' entry into Huangpu will drive innovation and practice in low-altitude logistics, emergency rescue, and other fields, constructing a low-altitude logistics network in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and initiating low-altitude express logistics transportation.
