Participant Wang Weirong expressed, "I find the staining process quite challenging because it involves manual staining, requiring precise time management."
Competition judge Tang Luying, chief physician of the pathology department at Sun Yat-sen University's Lingnan Hospital, mentioned that most participants demonstrated a solid foundation in their basic skills. The competition allowed participants to identify their weaknesses and enhance their professional expertise.
The competition featured individual awards for first, second, and third place, as well as awards for the best slicing and staining techniques. Winners are set to have the opportunity to further their education at the Southern Medical University's Huayin Pathological Diagnosis Center through advanced studies.
