The number of inspection and testing institutions in Huangpu district have rapidly expanded in recent years, leading in both quality and scale.
The Huangpu inspection bureau has achieved outstanding results, becoming a model with the highest number of excellent cases nationwide and is leading in terms of its industry scale concentration in China.
The district is home to 244 inspection and testing institutions, accounting for 21.07 percent of Guangzhou's total, ranking it first in Guangzhou and leading nationwide.
The revenue from the inspection and testing industry reached 29.74 billion yuan ($4.18 billion), accounting for 57.29 percent of the city's total, ranking it first in the city and among the best in the country.
Huangpu has released the "30 Measures for High-Quality Development", formulated an action plan and it has to date served 3.56 million business enterprises, promoting industrial growth.
The blueprint emphasizes collaborative innovation by enhancing technological capabilities and clearing obstacles to industrial development, thereby supporting the development of the industry supply chain.
The district has also established a high-quality service platform to promote the integration of production and services, facilitating the aggregation of high-end resources.
Moving forwards, plans are for Huangpu to continue to focus on "digitalization, integration and high-level development".
It's envisioned that this will promote the optimization and upgrading of quality basic services – providing technical support for the industrial supply chain through strengthening, complementing and extending links.
