Established only in 2004, Lianhe Street in Huangpu district of Guangzhou – capital of South China's Guangdong province – has evolved into a vital part of Guangzhou Science City.

Lianhe Street enjoys convenient transportation, located at the intersection of Guangzhou Metro Lines 6, 7, and 21 – connecting major highways like the Guangzhou-Heyuan Expressway and the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway – facilitating the travels of residents.
Commercial complexes such as Wanda and Guangzhou Science City Commercial Plaza cater to their diverse needs.
To date, Lianhe Street has attracted over 20,000 various technology-oriented enterprises and hosts two national-level key laboratories in Huangpu.
In 2023, the industrial output value of Lianhe Street reached 193.98 billion yuan ($27.2 billion), contributing about a quarter of the district's total economic output with only about one-tenth of the district's land area.
Lianhe Street not only focuses on economic development but also emphasizes eco-friendly development. Green spaces like Tianlu Lake Forest Park provide residents with leisure and relaxation spots. The street continuously strives to enhance its environment, boosting the well-being of residents by giving them access to more green spaces.
In fact, in the "2024 Vitality Street Top 500, Central Top 100 and Western Top 100" list released by the research institution Sichuan CCID, Lianhe Street ranked fifth nationwide and first in Guangzhou.
