Huangpu promotes development of eldercare sector

The first Huangpu Yinfa Art Festival and Guangzhou Welfare Market Event was held on Oct 18 in Huangpu district of Guangzhou – capital of South China's Guangdong province.

Overall, the event site was widely said to offer a great window into the world of technology-assisted aging.

As one of the themed activities of the "Respect for the Elderly Month" in Huangpu, the event attracted the participation of 30 business entities.

A range of high-tech elderly care equipment went on display, such as smart health monitoring wristbands and foldable walking assistance carts, providing a more convenient lifestyle for older folks.

Additionally, products like exoskeleton robots and intelligent moxibustion robots demonstrated innovative applications of technology in the field of eldercare.

The event also delved into the "medical care and elderly care integration" model of eldercare services. These integrate medical care, rehabilitation, nursing and elderly care resources to provide comprehensive health management and eldercare services.

As an example, the integrated medical care and elderly care facilities of Ryan Residential Care Home and Hua'en Hospital have incorporated intelligent elderly care terminal products into their communities – offering seniors convenient medical security and eldercare services.

The event showcased the latest achievements in technology-assisted aging. It also displayed ways to more convenience and care for the elderly – leading the path towards the future development of intelligent elderly care.
