Huangpu promotes high-quality development

Oct 14 marked the 55th World Standards Day. Currently, Huangpu district is implementing a standardization strategy, deepening standardization innovation, and achieving numerous first-place accomplishments in Guangzhou city.

The Huangpu district market supervision bureau has presented a remarkable "Huangpu Standard" report, with enterprises leading or participating in the revision of a large number of international, national, and industry standards, showcasing formidable standardization capabilities.

Huangpu is home to six leading standard-setting companies in Guangdong province, accounting for 10 percent of the province and 47 percent of the city, ranking first among county-level areas in the province. Standardization efforts have also bolstered industrial support, leading to significant breakthroughs in areas like new energy storage and medical low-temperature storage equipment.

Huangpu has established the province's first standardization technical committee led by academicians, dedicated to addressing challenges in key industrial sectors. Guiding industrial green and low-carbon development through standards, Huangpu is driving the transition between old and new energy sources, continuously enhancing quality and efficiency.

Looking ahead, Huangpu will continue to support the development of standardization efforts, leveraging policy, location, and industrial advantages to explore new paths and vigorously promote the high-quality development of the "Huangpu Standard".
