New developments made in transportation projects in Huangpu

Recently, there have been new developments in transportation construction projects in Huangpu district.

Firstly, Section 1 of the Luogang New Town Outer Ring Road has opened to traffic, totaling approximately 1.66 kilometers. With a 60 km per hour design speed, this road segment connects Shuixi Road to the Nangang River Bridge, further improving the road network in the Changlingju area, facilitating residents' travel, and strengthening the connection with the Huangpu district administrative center.

The pedestrian overpass project at Dongxing Market has also started trial operation, spanning Huangpu East Road. The supporting facilities include pedestrian walkway upgrades, water supply engineering, and landscaping, addressing the issue of mixed pedestrian and vehicular traffic and enhancing the convenience of travel for surrounding residents.

Lastly, the three-dimensional transportation engineering project in the core area of Kowloon Lake in the Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City has been initiated. This project involves node renovations and the construction of power tunnels, with a total investment of approximately 619.15 million yuan ($87.56 million), further enhancing regional transportation convenience.

These transportation construction projects' smooth progress will give residents a more convenient and comfortable travel experience, making neighborhood travel more efficient and smoother.
