Huangpu ranks among provincial experimental zones

The Guangdong Provincial Department of Education recently recognized 20 primary and secondary schools as artificial intelligence pilot application experimental zones – with schools in Huangpu district on the list.

In response, on Sept 20 Huangpu hosted a conference on utilizing AI to enhance digital education applications – marking the initiation of AI pilot programs in primary and secondary schools across the province.

To be a provincial "AI+ Education" experimental zone is said to involve boosting school information technology levels, facilitating language-based subject teaching efficiency and strengthening overall AI education.

By leveraging AI technology, tailored teaching resources and intelligent tools are provided to different regions and schools, offering personalized learning solutions for students.

During the conference, the Huangpu education bureau launched the establishment of the Guangdong province AI pilot application experimental zone for primary and secondary schools.

Strategic cooperation agreements were signed with nine business enterprises, to jointly explore paths for educational digital transformation.

Nine high-tech enterprises presented their latest explorations of and achievements in the integration of AI and education.

Moving forward, plans are for Huangpu to further extend its cooperation with educational technology companies – exploring smart equipment, creating demonstrative smart education scenarios and driving the advancement of the area's educational digital transformation.
