Art museum built in Huangpu

Updated : 2024-09-23

The Xu Qinsong Art Museum, a professional art exhibition hall, is currently being built in the Changlingju area of Guangzhou to city-level construction standards.

The Huangpu Enterprise Knowledge City Group acquired the site in May 2023 and construction began in August of the same year, with a total building area of approximately 30,800 square meters.

The museum will have four above-ground levels and three underground levels and is expected to open by October next year. It is intended to become a new cultural landmark in Huangpu.

The overall style of the art museum is inspired by ink painting, using simple and elegant lines and a black-and-white color scheme to showcase a unique aesthetic. Through curved design techniques, the architecture blends harmoniously with the natural environment, creating a cultural hub that offers a great visiting experience.

Additionally, leveraging the design of the underground corridor, the museum will create a cultural and ecological living circle by connecting with the sprawling 160,000 sq m Shuixi Commercial Complex.

The Shuixi Commercial Complex incorporates sunken park landscapes and rooftop garden designs, cleverly integrating commercial functions with natural landscapes. This will optimize the functional layout of the area and enhance the quality of life for the surrounding residents.
